The closest airport is Stuttgart Airport (STR), which is connected by public transport (VVS) to the city (trains run regularly). Frankfurt Airport (FRA) and Stuttgart are connected by intercity trains (Deutsche Bahn). Tickets for local public transportation (VVS: S-Bahn, U-Bahn and Bus) will be made available at check-in at the student hotel and will be valid for 15 days starting on Saturday, July 15th. We are working on getting some grants to partially cover the travel expenses.
The provided accommodation (International Student Hotel) is booked from Saturday, July 22nd (2 PM) till Sunday, July 30th (11 AM) and we recommend an arrival and departure on these days, respectively. If you plan an earlier arrival and/or a later departure, please book your own accommodation for the additional nights. Please contact the hotel, if you will not be able to check in before 9 PM. The hotel provides breakfast as well as free Wi-Fi with internet access.
Breakfast will be available at the hotel. As lunch (including beverages) is provided during the workshop, please let us know about any diet-related restrictions and food allergies. Be aware that except the closing dinner on Friday night, dinner expenses will not be covered.
During the workshop, there will be no specific dress code. The only exception is the closing dinner on Saturday night, where we recommend a business casual apparel.
